Melissa was born and raised in the Nicola Valley. She trained as an LPN at Nicola Valley Institute of Technology. She transitioned to the specialty of Advanced Nursing Foot Care and completed her training as an FCN in February 2018 through Foot Canada Training (formerly known as Foot Care Kingston). She went on to complete the Foot Care Nurse Educator (FCN Ed.) program in early 2021 and has purchased the curriculum through Foot Canada Training to facilitate their standardized and peer reviewed workshops and clinical courses. Melissa is a highly skilled medical professional. As the owner of First Class Foot Care, she brings a wealth of experience to the health care industry with an approach that puts an emphasis on wellness. She treats her patients with compassion, respect, and expert care.
